    As a current or recently serving police officer, you may be eligible for higher pay from day one at the academy, plus $20,000 in relocation support. Your experience could see you fast-tracked to the frontline through our four-month Police Abridged Competency Education (PACE) program.

    Throughout the year, QPS recruiting officers, along with serving police and recruits, host and attend various events across Queensland and beyond. 

    Our recruiting officers can provide you with information about eligibility and the recruitment process. Police officers will share their insights into both the challenging and rewarding aspects of a policing career. Our police recruits can provide tips from their own recent application experience as well as their experience of life at the QPS academies.
